Post Posted: Mon Feb 12, 2018 3:25 pm
Hello TACTE Members,

TACTE SPRING 2018 NOMINATIONS & ELECTION TIMELINE

I am serving as the TACTE Elections Director & Chair of the Nominations Committee for 2018. This year I am joined by two former TACTE Presidents Deana Savage & Joyce Williams and we have established the following timeline concerning the TACTE Spring 2018 Nominations & Election process:

February 05 – February 16: Nominations Committee selects candidates for three Board of Director positions up for election.

February 19 – February 28: Nominations Committee secures TACTE Board Member Qualifications forms from each nominee.

March 2: Nominations Committee presents its slate to the TACTE membership.

March 5 – March 16: Current TACTE Members must submit their nomination(s) to Cissy Matthews at amatthew@gc.edu no later than March 16th.
NOTE: In accordance with TACTE Bylaws if there are no nominations from the membership the Slate is elected by acclimation.

March 20 – March 23: Voting begins for any Board of Director position where one or more qualified candidate(s) was/ were nominated in addition to the slate nominee(s).

March 23: Voting ends

March 27-30: Run-off election (if needed)

April 13th: Election results announced at Business Meeting

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
