A letter was sent from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on Tuesday, January 26 announcing the 2016 WECM workshops. The letter includes a link for administrators to nominate faculty to serve as instructional specialist. The WECM Leadership Committee is eager for faculty who teach courses in the following rubrics to be given the opportunity to participate in the following workshops:

Workshop 1:
May 24-25
Information Technology
(Career Cluster 11)
Course rubrics to review: INEW, ITNW, ITSC, ITCC, ITMC, ITMT, ITSW, ITDF, ITSY, ITSE

Workshop 2:
June 1-2
Manufacturing (Career Cluster 13)
Course rubrics to review: CETT, CSIR, EEIR, IEIR, INCR, INTC, SMFT, BIOM, EECT, ELMT, LOTT, NANO, RBTC, INMT, IRAD, METL, MFGT, PLTC, WLDG, CPMT, CTEC, HYDR, PTAC, MCHN, OSHT, QCTC

Workshop 3:
June 7-8
Art, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications (Career Cluster 3)
Course rubrics to review: ARTC, ARTV, IMED, MUSB, MUSP, FLMC, PHTC, MUSC, RTVB, GAME, GRPH

Workshop 4:
June 14-15
Transportation (Career Cluster 16)
Course rubrics to review: ABDR, CVOP, MTRC, SMER, VHPA, AUMT, DEMR, AERM, AIRP, AVNC, AVIM
