Hello All,

I am searching for information on best practices in marketing workforce(credit) programs. We are seeing a slight decline in several of our male dominated programs and cannot understand why. Our shotgun marketing approach is not working and I am not exactly sure what to request.

Are any of you dealing with a decline in enrollment for specific programs? and if so, how are you attacking the problem... if you don't mind sharing.

Thank you in advance,

Are you certain its marketing?
If the economy is strong young men will take unskilled or low-skilled, but decent-paying, jobs and worry about training for a career later.

Also, take a look to see if the local high schools are offering the same courses in CTE. If the economy is strong those students may be getting jobs right out of high school instead of completing their training at the college (an example locally would be HVAC).
