TACC Update

Cooperative Purchasing Network

The TACC Executive Committee has approved allowing access to the TCCCPN program to non-community college entities. This action will make membership available to cities, counties, school districts, hospital districts, and other government agencies and non-profits in the state of Texas. Expanded membership will help increase buying power and encourage more competitive pricing from vendors. The cooperative's contracts will continue to concentrate on needs of the community colleges and all the service fee revenue will remain under the control of TACC.

Site Visits - TCCCPN Director Charlie Oberrender will be visiting numerous colleges purchasing offices across the state in the coming weeks to help familiarize the college staff with the cooperative's website and available contracts.

This Week's TCCCPN Contract Spotlight

Contract #022-14 Printing Services has been awarded to:

Universal Graphics of El Paso, TX.

Pamela Printing of Sugar Land, TX.

Both vendors will service any college in the state. Full color professional printing services are available to meet any need your college may have. We encourage your staff to check out their pricing and services.

Vendor Contact Information is available on the TACC website on the cooperative purchasing page or by contacting Charlie Oberrender at (512) 739-3746
All of the college purchasing offices have been notified of this award but we encourage you to express your support of the use of the TCCCPN contracts whenever practical for your institution. The service fees earned will return to the association for use for the benefit of all members.
